As part of SyFy’s disaster movie day, the network presents an original movie, “Annihilation Earth”, starring Luke Goss (Prince Nuada from Hellboy II) and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi from Star Trek The Next Generation).
This post-apocalyptic made-for-TV movie centers on “an attack on a supercollider [that] puts the planet on a collision course with total destruction.”
This SyFy original movie was originally titled, “Doomsday” but was changed to avoid confusion with another post-apocalyptic movie by Neil Marshall in 2008, starring Rhona Mitra (“Underworld: Rise of the Lycans”).
“Annihilation Earth” was written by Rafael Jordan and also stars Colin Salmon, Xenia Seeberg and Theo Cross.
