SyFy Has No Problem With Size, Greenlights THREE INCHES

SyFy is cooking up a new angle on the superhero trend with a new pilot in development. The network has greenlit a ninety- minute pilot for “Three Inches” from Fox Television Studios. “Three Inches” follows an unlikely superhero – an underachiever who is curiously limited in his telekinetic ability by only being able to move things a distance of three inches. This “hero” recruits others similarly blessed with limited abilities.

Mark Stern, SyFy’s Executive Vice President of Development, talks about how this show is different from other superhero shows:

” ‘Three Inches’ is a fun, smart, offbeat spin on the superhero genre. It’s a very postmodern approach, with a really wonderful, tongue-in-cheek script.”

Harley Peyton (“Twin Peaks”) penned the script and Bob Cooper is executive producing.
