The Winchester brothers are about to meet the man who made the legendary Colt that kills nearly any creature, supernatural or otherwise. On an upcoming episode of the CW’s Supernatural, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will take a trip into the Old West to meet the Samuel Colt. The brothers seek out Colt’s help to “deal with the angry spirit of Elias Finch.” Sam Hennings (Memphis Beat) has been cast to play the role of Colt.
Executive producer Sera Gamble talks about the Colt episode:
“[Samuel Colt]’s an iconic character for the show, and has been since season one. We’ll be meeting him later in his life, after many years of fighting demons and tinkering with magical weapons and Devil’s Gates and such. Time hasn’t been too kind to the guy — which is pretty par for the course, for a hunter.”
