No apocalypse would be complete without a cameo by Paris Hilton!  This “Supernatural” ep entitled “Fallen Idols’ (Season 5 Ep.5), features Paris Hilton, playing a “monster who takes the form of Paris Hilton”.  Show creator, Eric Kripke calls this ep, a “fun, irreverent episode about modern celebrity. [Fans] should withhold judgment until they see it.”  Kripke says that the casting idea came from the show’s writers:

“There was no pressure from the studio or network to do any stunt casting. We had our wish list in the room of who would be the best spokesperson for a satirical monologue on modern celebrity and Paris Hilton was at the top of the list. We never expected in a million years that she would do it, but I spoke to her and she got the joke immediately and signed on quickly. I give her a lot of credit for being a hell of a good sport. The fact that she was game to play the part speaks volumes about her sense of humor.”

Here’s the synopsis for “Fallen Idols”:

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) decide to start hunting together again and their first case leads them to a small town whose inhabitants are being killed by famous dead icons like Abraham Lincoln and James Dean’s car.

However, after two teenage girls come forward and claim their friend was kidnapped by Paris Hilton (in a cameo role as herself), the brothers aren’t sure what they are hunting anymore.

Jim Conway directed the episode written by Julie Siege.
