Super-Powered Casting: Tricia Helfer Joins NO ORDINARY FAMILY, THE CAPE Nabs Michael Irby and Lil’ Romeo

If being gorgeous and talented were a super-power, Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica, Mass Effect 2) would reign over these lands like a goddess. The beautiful Helfer joins the cast of ABC’s No Ordinary Family as “a sexy and mysterious woman who, like the Powells, may possess some special powers of her own.”

On a brand new superhero front, The Cape is busy populating Palm City with baddies. Doesn’t it look like so much fun to play a villain on NBC’s The Cape? Latest to join the drama with comic book sensibilities is Michael Irby (The Unit, 24) and Romeo Miller, formerly known as Lil’Romeo (The Defenders, Honey). Get a load of these character descriptions!

Irby (pictured at top, left) has landed the recurring role of Pokerface, “a high-level associate of Scales (Vinnie Jones)” who is “a ghoulish-looking thug dressed in a suit whose face is frozen in an expression of glum murderousness.”

Miller (pictured at top, right) will play a character called Lil’Z, “a baby gansta and a mean, smack-talking chatterbox” who “works with Pokerface and ends up confronting him and Scales.”

The Cape airs on NBC, Mondays at 9/8C and No Ordinary Family on ABC, Tuesdays at 8/7C.
