Sunday Viewing Previews: Premieres, Finales, and More (Oh My)

Once Upon a Time s2 night wide

Please forgive the Wizard of Oz reference, but given that certain residents of Oz have played a part in the second half of the season of Once Upon a Time, and that’s one of tonight’s finales, it seemed appropriate. It kicks off a week of finales, so make sure you plan your personal schedule accordingly.

And because it’s Mother’s Day, there’s something on tonight for nearly every mom (if she’s, you know, Our Kind of Mom), from twisted fairy tales to horror to more horror to the twisted fairy tale horror of Game of Thrones.

Here’s a TV spot for the TWO HOUR Once Upon a Time season finale, which kicks off at 8/7c:

Tonight brings two premieres: excellent and gorgeous new miniseries Rosemary’s Baby, Part 1 at 9/8c on NBC (Part 2 airs Thursday at 9/8c), and new gothic horror series Penny Dreadful at 10/9c on Showtime.

And we’re nowhere near the finale, but Game of Thrones is also on tonight, and here’s a preview:

We have a lot more finales this week, including the series finale tomorrow night of Star-Crossed, and season finales for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, and Grimm, all of which, happily for us, will be returning to our screens for a new season later this year or early in 2015. We’ll keep you posted, and don’t forget to keep an eye on the SciFi Mafia calendar for dates and times for all your favorite shows.
