STARGATE UNIVERSE: Dr. Rush Finally Gets The Chair In “Aftermath”

Thanks to Dr. Rush (Robert Carlyle), the SGU team has retaken control of the Ancient starship Destiny in the season premiere of Stargate Universe, but “control” of the ship is still something that the brilliant minds of the SGU scientists have yet to harness… until perhaps now. From the looks of the promo teaser for tonight’s all new episode of SyFy’s Stargate Universe, Dr. Rush has found the command deck (and Captain’s chair) of Destiny. Check out the synopsis, promo, intro by actor Brian J. Smith, and sneak peek of “Aftermath”.

Stargate Universe: Episode Synopsis for “Aftermath” (Season 2 Episode 2)

With food and water supplies running dangerously low and tempers flaring, a shuttle is deployed to an unstable planet whose Stargate has been locked out of Destiny‘s controls.

Still recovering his battered body, an exhausted Dr. Rush (Robert Carlyle) manages to unlock the master code to the ship’s bridge. There he finds a planet within range that seems viable but for some unknown reason, has been locked out of Destiny‘s controls. Its Stargate also appears to be non-functioning. With the need for food and water becoming dire, he decides to override the ships controls and have a crew shuttle to the planet in the hopes of finding much needed supplies. Meanwhile, Young (Justin Louis) and Wray (Ming-Na) disagree on whether to trust their Lucian prisoners.
