Back in August, director/creator George Lucas announced at Star Wars Celebration V that the entire Star Wars saga would be hitting Blu-ray in 2011. Now, not only is it official but, we’ve got some details about the sets and they’re available to pre-order at a discounted price at Amazon right now.
You get three options to choose from, you can pick up Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray, a 9-disc Set that includes all six films and more than 30 hours of extensive special features including never-before-seen deleted and alternate scenes and an exploration of the exclusive Star Wars archives , the Star Wars: Prequel Blu-ray Trilogy, a 3-disc set that includes Episodes I-III), and Star Wars: Original Blu-ray Trilogy, a 3-disc set that includes Episodes IV-VI.
Star Wars: The Complete Saga will be $139.99 after its released but, you can pre-order it on Amazon for $89.99. The two Star Wars: Trilogy Sets will be $69.99 after they are released but, you can pre-order them on Amazon for $44.99

Flanked by a legion of his finest Imperial Stormtroopers, Darth Vader himself joined Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment President Mike Dunn at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to announce the release, vowing “The forces of the Empire will be at your disposal to assure the success of this endeavor.’’
