Star Trek: Voyager and Buffy Vet Appear in Sci-Fi Comedy Webseries SPARKLEPUFF LAZERIUM

It’s really difficult to resist an email that begins with “Dear amazeballs high powered person who can share this with your minions“, and with that I was introduced to the most ridiculously funny, completely inapproprite, absurd sci-fi comedy webseries I’ve ever seen… Sparklepuff Lazerium.

I will warn you that there’s a bit of mildly offensive imagery, and tons of sexual innuendo, so the trailer and episodes you can watch on its YouTube channel may be considered Not Safe For Work to some degree. Make sure you check out the press release below the video for all of the cast details and links.

Press Release:

From writer/actress/geek girl Lesli Margherita comes a new sci-fi comedy webseries: SPARKLEPUFF LAZERIUM.

Space Balls meets Space…Boobs!

Sparklepuff Lazerium : superheroine of the galaxy! (though most question that when she’s in action) While she possesses no actual super-powers, she bravely battles the alien forces of evil with her bedazzled gamma ray gun. In the vein of Naked Gun and the MacGruber sketches, Sparklepuff spoofs some of the most famous sci fi plots…in 6 inch boots. Defending the galaxy, bitches.

The stand alone episodes feature sci fi favorites Tom Lenk (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer”, “Angel”, Cabin in the Woods, Transformers), Ethan Phillips (“Star Trek: Voyager”) and soap star Eric Martsolf (“Days of our Lives”, “Smallville”).
