Ah, the lovely spoilers that come out of Q&A time with stars. At the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con last week, Hugh Jackman spilled the beans on the baddie of the Wolverine sequel during his Q&A for upcoming robot-fighting film, Real Steel.

Here’s what Jackman said to the eager SDCC fans via Screenrant:

“I’m filming Les Miserables in February, but before that I will be filming Wolverine 2 in October. Chris McQuarrie has written a fantastic script and it should turn out really good. I’ll fight the Silver Samurai in it so that should be exciting. Most of the filming will take place in Japan.”

No casting announcements have been made yet about who will play the Silver Samurai aka Kenuichio Harada, the half-brother of Wolverine’s lover Mariko Yashida. We’ll keep you in the loop on this James Mangold-helmed film.

The Wolverine is slated to hit theaters in 2012.
