Earlier this month, Campbell Scott (Damages, Royal Pains) and Julianne Nicholson (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, William Vincent) joined the cast of director Marc Webb’s as yet Untitled Spider-Man Reboot. The pair were cast as Peter Parker’s parents. Irrfan Khan (In Treatment) and Annie Parisse (Fringe, The Tested) were also cast in the film, as Nels Van Atter and Van Atter’s wife, respectively.

Now, Chris Zylka (Kaboom) confirmed on twitter that he has been cast as Peter Parker’s high school nemesis, Eugene “Flash” Thompson. Flash is a star high school football player and classmate of Parker who mercilessly bullies “Puny Parker”, and ironically admires Spider-Man.

The Untitled Spider-Man Reboot is slated to hit theaters on July 3rd, 2012.
