Even if you own the Blu-ray or DVD of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and have seen this featurette before, give yourself a little weekend present and watch this “New Zealand, Home of Middle-earth” featurette again, because it is absolutely gorgeous. Transporting. And one of the best advertisements for a country that I’ve ever seen.
We showed you a shorter version of this featurette just a week before the premiere of the first Hobbit movie, but as we are now starting to get new footage and screen shots from the second movie, the official Facebook page for The Lord of the Rings Film Trilogy found this to be a good time to post this featurette, and I completely agree.
