Earlier this month, Paramount Pictures released the first, official, high resolution, full costume photo of Hugo Weaving (The Hobbit) as the villainous Johann Schmidt / The Red Skull in director Joe Johnston‘s forthcoming Marvel Studios film, Captain America: The First Avenger starring Chris Evans.

Now, we’ve all been waiting on pins and needles for the first full trailer from the film, which we’re expecting to hit any day now. While we wait, those delightfully peppy cats over at Entertainment Tonight managed to air a sneak peek of the footage on that screen people used to watch back in the olden days before computers, and luckily someone had the presence of mind to put it on youtube so that… ya know, people would actually see it.

Trailer Sneak Peek: Captain America: The First Avenger

Captain America: The First Avenger starring Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Neal McDonough, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper, Hayley Atwell and Toby Jones is slated to hit theaters on July 22nd, 2011.
