Next month, when Aquaman (Alan Ritchson) returns to the CW’s Smallville, he will be bringing his better half, classic DC comic undersea queen, Mera. Mera will be played by Elena Satine (Just Go With It, Melrose Place) and will appear with her hubby on this final season of Smallville’s ninth episode, entitled “Patriot”. Her appearance with Aquaman could shine light on the possibilities of Clark’s relationship with Lois.

Tom Welling, aka Supes himself, directed this episode and it will also feature a guest spot by Battlestar Galactica alum Michael Hogan (Red Riding Hood, Warehouse 13) as Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke. Hogan will also appear in episode 11, “Icarus”.
