Hot on the heels of jubilation from Michael Rosenbaum finally being part of the conclusion of the CW Superman origin series, this bit of info leaks. You may have already been formulating your hypotheses from the end of last week’s episode with Tess and a certain someone whose skin was curiously impenetrable…

Someone isn’t who they think they are. In an upcoming episode, “Scion”, this certain character’s “journey is manipulated by a master” according to executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders.

Here’s a spoilery sneak peek at that episode below:

Our Lex Luthor clone, Alexander as played by Lucas Gabreel, is actually Conner Kent aka Superboy, the human-Kryptonian hybrid of Lex and Superman! Peterson and Souders add more of a teaser for this ep with this tidbit:

“Luckily, someone knows more about Conner’s life than he does. But he should be wary of strangers bearing gifts.”
