The two-hour season finale of the CW’s Smallville edges closer and now that we know that we will indeed see Clark (Tom Welling) and Lois’ (Erica Durance) wedding day, you might be wondering about Smallville’s other fave couple, Chloe (Allison Mack) and Oliver (Justin Hartley). Since Oliver does not ultimately end up with Chloe in the comics (as Chloe was made for the TV show), how will the newly married couple wind up at the end of Smallville? From the looks of this pic, they look plenty happy at the wedding… but don’t forget that Oliver has been touched by Darkseid!

Justin Hartley talked about the finale episode:

“Oliver ends up, in the finale, having to ask Clark (Tom Welling) to help him. [The darkness] is overpowering him. He’s not in control anymore. Oliver is gone, just disconnected.”

“We figure [Oliver’s situation] out in the finale, to a point. We do the story justice.”

Allison Mack assured fans that her character will wrap the series in a way that will make everyone happy:

“She ends in a very healthy and levelheaded way. I think that the writers have respected my character for such a long time, and she goes out with the same affection she came in with.”
