Brian Austin Green returns as Metallo on tonight’s episode of the CW’s “Smallville”, entitled “Upgrade”. His character is not the same as he was when he first appeared on the show in episode two. Show runner Brian Peterson enlightens and taunts fans with this tidbit about tonight’s episode:
“He basically has to rein in Clark, who gets infected with red kryptonite which makes him a bad boy, and Zod on his own. It’s a fun twist on things.”
Lois (Erica Durance) will also have a big part to play in this episode… and she will return a favor owed to a former peer.
