I’m in the habit of keeping really low expectations when it comes to movies and when I watched this trailer for Vampire Academy, I had set the bar low, but I’m already enjoying it. The combination of director Mark Waters (Mean Girls) and writer Daniel Waters (Heathers) is making for some really powerful snark which Zoey Deutch (who plays Rose Hathaway) is delivering masterfully.
