Just last month we told you that original Silent Hill cast-members, Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean and Deborah Kara Unger would be joining Adelaide Clemens (Generation Um…, Mad Max: Fury Road) and Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) in the Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane, Deathwatch) directed Silent Hill: Revelation 3D.
Now, Davis Films has announced that Malcolm McDowell (The Mentalist, Lords of Magic) and Carrie-Anne Moss (The Clockwork Girl, Unthinkable) have joined the cast as Claudia and Leonard Wolf, two characters who are featured in the videogame Silent Hill 3 as members of The Order, a religious cult trying to bring about the apocalypse.

TORONTO – April 6, 2011: The newest residents of Michael J. Bassett’s world of Silent Hill: Revelation 3D are Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix Trilogy, Memento, Unthinkable, Chocolat) who will play “Claudia Wolf” and Malcolm McDowell (Easy A, Entourage, A Clockwork Orange) as “Leonard Wolf.” Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is currently lensing in Toronto and produced by Samuel Hadida and Don Carmody.
Moss and McDowell join rising star Adelaide Clemens (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Vampire, Camilla Dickinson, Wasted on the Young, Mad Max: Fury Road); Kit Harington (HBO’s upcoming series Game of Thrones); and returning Silent Hill residents Radha Mitchell (The Crazies, Surrogates); Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Lord of the Rings), and Deborah Kara Unger (Shake Hands with the Devil, 88 Minutes).
Hadida said: “Carrie has displayed her enormous talent across all genres – from The Matrix Trilogy to Memento – and we are delighted for her to join the world of Silent Hill. She will certainly bring a new level of excitement to fans of the videogame franchise.”
McDowell will pay tribute to Stanley Kubrick at the 2011 Festival de Cannes this May, by screening seven of the famed director’s films in fully restored condition.
Director Michael J. Bassett said: “Malcolm is quite simply an icon of modern cinema and I’ve been a fan since I was a teenager when I managed to see A Clockwork Orange. He has an amazing ability to bring new and unexpected dimensions to his characters and I know he will bring something unique and disturbing to Silent Hill.”
Hadida and Carmody most recently produced Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, and Wentworth Miller. Past collaborations include Resident Evil: Apocalypse and the earlier Silent Hill.
