SGU Returns Tonight: Trailer And Some Spoiler Images

After being on break since December, SyFy’s “Stargate Universe” is back tonight with an all new episode, entitled “Space”. This is the first of ten new episodes left in the show’s freshman season. SciFi Mafia has a great teaser trailer for these new episodes below, a sneak peek at tonight’s episode, followed by some spoilery images in the thumbnails below the teaser. According to actor David Blue who plays Eli Wallace, the return of SGU will be the start of “craziness”:

“[The second half opener] picks up from [the midseason finale/cliffhanger]. It goes straight into craziness. The best way I’ve heard it described is that it picks up this amazing roller-coaster pace and you start seeing some of the things that people have been asking about for a while.”

If you’re not caught up on “SGU”, set your DVRs to record the airing of the first ten episodes of this season that SyFy’s playing back to back before the new ep begins.

SPOILER ALERT!

Don’t scroll any further down if you don’t want to see sneak peeks at what/who else the crew of the Destiny will encounter.

This week’s episode synopsis I felt was a bit spoilery so it’s down here as well:

The Destiny crew discover a piece of Ancient technology that transports Young to an unknown alien vessel.

[The Shake Down]
ALIENS!!! Finally, we get some alien action out here on the Destiny. I was starting to wonder if we were just going to float out here with no one to interact with! When we found out that the Lucian alliance was going to be the big bad, that was a bit of a letdown considering the Lucian alliance aren’t really that far of a stretch for our general concept of what “aliens” look like, but horray for actual aliens! BTW, for my alien fix, I’ve been watching “Farscape” to quench that thirst!
