See the Newest Villain of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Plus Wrap-Up of Phase 1 and Phase 2

Marvel-Studios-x-Logo-wide

Sorry kids, I was going to try to refrain from posting yet another Marvel thing today, but you simply have to see the Phase 1 and Phase 2 retrospective featurette. It is so good. Even if you can’t make it to Guardians of the Galaxy this weekend, this will get you in the mood for all of the Marvel movies in your personal collection. Having a personal Marvel marathon is always an excellent weekend choice.

Speaking of the featurette… If you’ve been on the social networks today, you may have noticed that much has been made of the ‘spoilery’ aspects of posting a pic of a certain Marvel villain who has been in the news of late. I don’t get it. We’ve been talking about this character ever since he showed up at the Comic-Con Hall H Marvel panel last Saturday, and really, much longer than that.

Some people may not have even noticed his appearance in the retrospective featurette when Marvel screened it for us at the beginning of the panel, but he’s there in all his glory. And since Marvel has now released the featurette for everyone to see, which is why it’s posted below, and since they’ve been talking about the character’s inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since last Saturday, and the fact that he’s played by Josh Brolin, and since they even released a pic of the character today (also below), I think it’s okay to say…

LOOK, IT’S THANOS!!!
