Lionsgate has released the second trailer for Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard‘s upcoming Sci-Fi Horror film, The Cabin in the Woods. The film stars Bradley Whitford (The Asset), Kristen Connolly (The Bay), Chris Hemsworth (The Avengers) and Fran Kranz (Lust for Love, Dollhouse).

Synopsis:

A group of friends at a cabin retreat scratch the surface of something so massive and horrific that they can only begin to fathom it as time quickly runs out.

The Cabin in the Woods directed by Drew Goddard, written by Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon, and starring Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth and Fran Kranz is slated to hit theaters on April 13th, 2012.
