Sci-Fact: First Image of a Black Hole Devouring a Star


This is the first image ever captured of Galactus a black hole, consuming a star. What you are seeing is the cosmic jet from a super massive black hole eating a sun like it’s a pan of General Tso’s chicken on an all you can eat Asian buffet. Cheers to the astronomers that caught this for the rest of us to see.

Above is the image captured by Nasa’s Swift telescope, and below is an illustration showing plasma shooting out of the black hole after it devours a star.

The Black Hole’s Cosmic jets, known as ‘relativistic jets’ which can reach hundreds of thousands of light years in length shredded and then swallowed a star.
