The past few days have been littered with news about Rhys Ifans (Anonymous) signing on to play the villain (reportedly, Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard), opposite Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Emma Stone (Easy A, Zombieland) as Gwen Stacy, in director Marc Webb‘s as yet Untitled Spider-Man Reboot.

Now comes word from Clint over at Moviehole that Sony/Columbia Pictures has put out a casting call for a young Peter Parker (age 4 to 6 years old) and Billy Connors, son of Curt Connors/The Lizard (age 8 to 11 years old).

The Untitled Spider-Man Reboot is slated to hit theaters on July 3rd, 2012.
