Back in April, we told you that Arnold Shwarzenegger was set to reprise his role as The Terminator in a new installment of the franchise to be directed by Justin Lin (Fast Five), and just last month we told you that Megan Ellison‘s production company, Annapurna Films won a bidding war with Lionsgate and scored the rights to produce Terminator 5.

Now, What’s Playing reports that Paul Walker (Fast Five, Vehicle 19), who worked with director Justin Lin on 2009’s Fast & Furious, as well as the most installment in that franchise, Fast Five is rumored as a candidate to portray Kyle Reese in the fifth Terminator film.

Terminator 5 is currently in development.
