In a move sure to shorten the degrees of separation between himself and a new generation of actors, Kevin Bacon (Super) is reportedly in talks to star as the main villain in Matthew Vaughn’s (Kick-Ass) upcoming X-prequel, X-Men: First Class. Bacon would join confirmed cast members James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Lucas Till, Caleb Landry Jones, and Nicholas Hoult.

Deadline reports that they are not sure of his character, and the studio has yet to make a deal with Bacon.
