Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau posted a message on his twitter account stating “Some very cool Cowboys & Aliens casting news coming soon…“, and it seems Latino Review had a previous scoop “that Harrison Ford was about to join a huge comic book movie to be directed by a director coming off a soon to be released huge comic book movie.” So, they are suspecting that Ford will be joining Favreau’s upcoming Cowboys and Aliens!

If true, Harrison Ford would be joining the already cast Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde. There has been no confirmation from any official sources yet, and I would assume that we will find out via Favreau on twitter before we hear it anywhere else!

Cowboys and Aliens is slated to hit theaters on July 29th, 2011.
