Just last month, Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger) was reportedly on the shortlist of actresses testing for the role of Andromeda in the Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles, Odysseus) directed Clash of the Titans sequel, Wrath of the Titans.

Now, Deadline reports that Rosamund Pike (Johnny English Reborn, The Sea) has scored the role of Andromeda in the sequel, a character who was portrayed by Alexa Davalos in Clash of the Titans, though she was unavailable to return for the sequel.

Wrath of the Titans directed by Jonathan Liebesman is slated to hit theaters on March 30th, 2012.
