Universal Pictures has acquired writer-director David Guggenheim‘s (Safe House) script for 364. The project’s title refers to the number of days each year that a normal guy spends trying to figure out what heroic deeds he will perform on the single day each year that he is granted superpowers.

Deadline reports that the film will be produced by Imagine Entertainment, and director Ron Howard (Under the Banner of Heaven, Rush) is set to helm the film.
