Fans of survival-horror and zombie fiction are ecstatic with news that they’ll be getting double their monthly fix of brain-chomping carnage. Robert Kirkman has announced that, at least for the short-term, The Walking Dead comics will be released in a bi-monthly format starting in October.

Comicbooksnews.com reports that The Walking Dead #115 will start off a 12-issue-long arc dubbed “All Out War.” The new bi-weekly schedule will see Stefano Gaudiano come on board the publication to assist long-time artist Charlie Adlard with the new workload. The arc also coincides with the series’ tenth anniversary.

The announcement came during Kirkman’s panel discussion at the Image Comics Expo this past Tuesday, July 2.
