Revolution Casts Two Women, Including Lost Castmember

Time marches on. Lost has actually been over for long enough that its former castmembers have been in other shows and have moved on from those into yet other shows. It is, however, good news for us. Elizabeth Mitchell, who played poor brave Juliet on Lost, who went on to be poor brave Erica on V, has now been cast as poor brave Rachel on NBC‘s new fall show Revolution.

Admittedly, her role is a little confusing. She’s called by TVLine a “regular” but one who is “seen in a series of flashbacks,” which sounds less regular. Oh wait – it’s a J.J. Abrams show. Okay. Her role is Rachel Matheson, the mother of Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos) and Danny Matheson (Graham Rogers). Her character was played in the pilot by Andrea Roth.

Also newly cast on Revolution as a regular is the lovely Daniella Alonso (Friday Night Lights) as Nora, a rebel fighter, battling against the militia that controls North America. Deadline reports that the character likes to blow stuff up. Revolution is reportedly undergoing a bit of tweaking before its September 17 premiere, and adding in the character of Nora is part of that tweaking.

Revolution, starring Billy Burke and Giancarlo Esposito, premieres Monday, September 17 at 10/9c on NBC.
