Just last month, after some speculation we had finally gotten word from Jill Valentine herself, Sienna Guillory that she would indeed be returning for the fifth film in the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Retribution.

Now, thanks to the ever-awesome star of that series, Ms. Milla Jovovich, we get the first of what will likely be many looks behind the scenes throughout the production of the movie. Jovovich posted the following message and video via Twitter just yesterday!

In other Resident Evil news…

Two Resident Evil film veterans are returning for the fifth installment. Boris Kodjoe, who played “Luther West” in Resident Evil: Afterlife announced his casting on Twitter, and Colin Salmon, who played “One” in the original 2002 Resident Evil announced his casting via Twitter as well.

You’re probably thinking “Aren’t they both dead?”. Well, we most definitely saw the death of Colin Salmon‘s character in the original Resident Evil, and while Luther West was pretty much presumed dead after he was attacked by zombies, he did emerge from the storm drain of the prison at the end of Resident Evil: Afterlife in time to see a fleet of Umbrella Corp planes heading towards Arcadia.

I’m assuming because Umbrella Corp. is fond of cloning, that is how we will likely see Colin Salmon‘s character return, unless he’s simply in a flashback of Alice’s at some point in the film.
