Just last week, we brought you the news about writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson (The Three Musketeers) is returning to helm the fifth installment of the Resident Evil franchise, alongside his wife and star of the series, Milla Jovovich (Faces in the Crowd).

Now, THR reports that Anderson will be filming Resident Evil: Retribution in Toronto, Canada between mid-October and late December 2011. In addition, responding to fan questions on Twitter, Milla Jovovich revealed that they will also be heading to her native Russia for a huge action sequence.

Jovovich said,

“YES! WE ARE DOING A HUGE ACTION SEQUENCE IN RED SQUARE!!!!”

Resident Evil: Retribution is slated to hit theaters on September 14, 2012.
