What a great year it has been for Our Kind of Movies. And there are no signs of this gold rush slowing, thank all the powers that be. One of the – well, three of the – most hotly anticipated must be The Hobbit movies, beginning with The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS!

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is slated to hit theaters on December 14, 2012.  The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be released Dec. 13, 2013; the third installment in the series, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, will hit theaters July 18, 2014.
