Aurora Productions and Platinum Studios are joining forces on a feature film adaptation of Platinum’s graphic novel Nightfall. The graphic novel was penned by Scott O. Brown and illustrated by Ferran Xalabarder, and was published in 2007 by Platinum Studios.
Brown’s graphic novel Nightfall was inspired by Joss Whedon’s Buffy and Angel television shows, and tells the story of industrious, right-wing survivalist David Paxton, who is sent to a tough Texas prison, that is run by vampires. An all around ‘man of comics,’ Scott is also the letterer behind the Zuda series, High Moon and the Platinum Studios series Big Badz, as well as the writer of Ambrosia Publishing’s series: They Do Not Die.
