Director Pierre Morel (Taken) has reportedly made a presentation to Universal Pictures outlining his take on the big-screen adaptation of the Hasbro board game, OUIJA. The studio has already heard presentations from Sylvain White (The Losers), and Scot Stewart (Priest) and John Moore (Max Payne) who have also been talking to the studio about directing the supernatural thriller.

THR reports that Morel is also in talks to direct the Sam Raimi produced, EDF (or Earth Defense Force) for Warner Bros. Back in September we told you that EDF is based on a script from Air Force One screenwriter and Castle executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe, about three alien fighters attacking the planet, leaving countries humiliated. The governments of Earth then race to create a space fighting force in preparation for a second attack by an approaching alien horde.

Ouija is slated to hit theaters on November 9th, 2012.
