Nana Visitor (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Battlestar Gallatica) is a guest star on this Friday’s GRIMM – NBC‘s new hit series.
She plays a GRIMM monster – The Mellischwuler (Queen Bee of the Mellifer community). Mellifers are bee-like creature that exists typically as part of a swarm, and in groups they operate with a hive mentality. They live in man-made life-size hives they build in the attics of houses, where they harvest their own apitoxin (bee venom). Mellifers are clarions – they send the warning call within the creature world.
Episode Description:
A SOCIAL MEDIA CRAZE DISGUISES A STRING OF BIZARRE MURDERS – The station is abuzz as Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to a case where an innocent flash mob results in a gruesome homicide.
