We brought you a report back in April that Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Ultimatum, United 93, Green Zone) was in talks to direct a remake of the 1966 Sci-Fi classic Fantastic Voyage for producer James Cameron‘s Lightstorm Entertainment and 20th Century Fox.

Now, Deadline reports that Greengrass will not be directing Fantastic Voyage and has opted to look towards the Warner Bros. remake of Treasure Island instead. Greengrass has not been locked for the Treasure Island project either, his involvement is said to be based on whether or not he and the studio can agree on a screenwriter.
