Paul Bettany’s PRIEST Is Going 3D And Getting A Later Release

Screen Gems has announced that the graphic novel film adaptation of Priest, starring Paul Bettany – will be released in 3D in theaters nationwide on January 14, 2011. Originally slated for release this coming August, the film’s release date has obviously been bumped to allow time for (yet another) 3-D conversion.

Clint Culpepper, President of Screen Gems said,

“We’re thrilled with the way ‘Priest’ has come together, and we saw some spectacular sequences in the film that we all believed would be even more amazing in 3D, Scott, as well as the producers, couldn’t be more excited to make the film available for audiences in both 2D and 3D.”
