Paranormal Activity 2 Trailer Was Too Scary for Twilight Eclipse Fans

We brought you the teaser trailer for Paranormal Activity 2, which premiered in front of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse yesterday, and apparently some of the young Twihards in the audience at Texas Cinemark theaters found the teaser trailer “too scary“. After complaints about the teaser, Cinemark  decided to pull it from several of their theaters.

While I first thought reports of the trailer being pulled indicated a publicity stunt, Deadline reports that a Paramount exec insisted –

“I actually went to a couple theaters last night, and a ton of girls jumped out of their seats and screamed. All I can tell you is people complained and Cinemark pulled it down.”

I personally thought the trailer was a touch creepy (at best) but fairly uneventful (although that chick just ‘standing’ there as she did in the first one creeps me out). I didn’t really notice anything “noteworthy” but, I apparently glossed over it too quickly because /Film posted a cool screen-shot pointing out some interesting observations, check it and the trailer out below.
