Paranormal Activity 2 Scares Up $41.5 Million At The Box Office


Paranormal Activity 2 scored $12,904 on each of its 3,216 screens for an opening weekend total of approximately $41.5 million, surpassing the original film’s $20 million opening weekend. The film, directed by Tod Williams cost a pawltry $3 million to make, and the huge weekend box office take gives Paranormal Activity 2 the distinction of earning the biggest opening weekend of all time for a horror film.
