Yes, Paramount Pictures has released a cinemosaic poster for Star Trek Into Darkness and we have learned a new word! It’s a mashup of a motion poster and a mosaic, featuring clips from the movie, and is very cool.

They’ve also released many more screenshots for our ogling enjoyment. All of the pictures, trailers, TV spots and featurettes have been terrific and not TOO spoilery. Just gorgeous. And helpful, because I HATE WAITING.

Star Trek Into Darkness, starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Bruce Greenwood, and Alice Eve,  is slated to hit theaters on May 17, 2013 (with an early IMAX sneak peek on May 15).
