PARADISE LOST: Confirmed! Diego Boneta Lands Role of Adam


As we reported to you last month, word along the grapevine was that Legendary Pictures had Diego Boneta in mind for a certain role in their adaptation of John Milton’s epic 17th-century poem, Paradise Lost.

We now have confirmation from Deadline that Diego Boneta (Rock of Ages, 90210) has indeed been cast as Adam, whom he will play opposite Camilla Belle (10,000 B.C., Push) as Eve.

Synopsis:

Lucifer (Bradley Cooper) and Michael (Benjamin Walker), God’s greatest archangels, share the bond of extraordinary friendship until God produces his greatest creation: Man. Unable to remain subservient to God if it means bowing down to humanity, Lucifer begins his dark descent and is cast out – only to plot his revenge.

Paradise Lost begins production at the turn of the year in Sydney is slated to hit theaters in 2013.
