Though we would be happiest to see the beloved Jorge Garcia land an excellent full-time role in some show that deserves him, we rejoice in announcing this lovely stop along the way. We have learned that he will be making a guest appearance on the show of his former Lost classmates Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, Once Upon a Time.

THR broke the news that Garcia will be playing a giant, and speculated that it would be in the upcoming Season 2 Jack in the Beanstalk-related episode. That works for us. Hopefully it will be one of those Storybrooke roles with a twist, and the giant will be lovable and say “dude” a lot. We loved his work in Alcatraz and adored his guest spot on Fringe, so of course we’re really looking forward to whatever he’ll be doing in the town where Evil Is Coming.

The collective Lostie squee if we see Jorge Garcia and promoted-to-season-2-regular Emilie de Ravin together onscreen again – ooo, imagine if they meet at the mayor’s house, you know, the one with the 108 address? HEY, MAYBE EATING AN APOLLO BAR! – just might be enough to chase away that purple smoke we saw encroaching on the unusual town at the end of Season 1.
