On the Fence? Consider Frankenstein or The Wolf Man for President

Even if you’ve decided long ago who you’ll be voting for in next month’s presidential election, there are two additional candidates who are making a name for themselves lately, whom you might want to consider. We here at SciFiMafia.com are remaining neutral, but felt it important to at least mention them.

It looks like Frankenstein may have the “legends” vote; that shot of him inside someone’s home? That’s Bela Lugosi Jr. and his family, no kidding.

The campaign videos above starred and were written and directed by one of our favorites, Daniel Roebuck (Lost, The Walking Dead: Cold Storage webisode series), who was kind enough to send the video our way. It was created in conjunction with a live debate performed by him and the actor who played Frankenstein, Perry Shields, last weekend before a film society screening of Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man.

He also shared some great photos with us, and wanted to make sure we noted that Casey Wong was the makeup artist (we see he also appeared in the ad, but maybe he’s a true believer) and that Wally Wingert (Family Guy, The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes) supplied the narration.

Mr. Roebuck was also cool enough to have a lovely chat with SciFi Mafia yesterday about his upcoming horror documentary, Dr. Shocker’s Vault of Horror; about The Walking Dead: Cold Storage; and of course we had to ask him about Lost. We’ll have that interview for you a bit later. For now, study the candidates and their platforms!

And Happy Halloween, from Daniel Roebuck, Dr. Shocker, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, and all of us here at SciFi Mafia.com.
