Olivia Thirlby To Battle Aliens In THE DARKEST HOUR


Olivia Thirlby (The Wackness, Juno) has landed a starring role in the Chris Gorak (Minority Report) directed Sci-Fi film, The Darkest Hour. The movie is being produced by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Nightwatch), and shoots this Summer in Bekmambetov’s own facilities in Moscow.

The script, which is currently being revised by Gorak and Josh Zetumer, is set in Moscow and follows a group of Americans traveling in the city when an alien invasion occurs. Thirlby plays a trust fund girl trying to survive the attack who teams up with others to try to defeat the invaders.
