Nolan’s INCEPTION So Surreal It Didn’t Make Sense To The Cast During Filming

Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, Inception – starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ken Watanabe, Tom Hardy and Michael Caine has been shrouded in secrecy. The poster, the teaser trailer, nothing has given away too many details of this project that Nolan has called the biggest challenge he’s taken on.

During a recent interview, one of the stars of the ensemble cast – Leonardo DiCaprio let a detail slip that should make most of us feel less alone in our utter confusion about the film billed as “A contemporary science fiction tale set within the architecture of the human mind.”

DiCaprio said,

“‘Inception’ is Chris delving into dream psychoanalysis and, at the same time, making a high-octane, surreal film that came from his mind. He wrote the entire thing, and it all made sense to him. It didn’t make sense to many of us when we were doing it. We had to do a lot of detective work (laughing) to figure out what the movie was about.”
