Even though we were recently given a lovely long (nearly three minutes!) trailer for Damon Lindelof‘s upcoming series The Leftovers, it was completely devoid of any Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who, Thor: The Dark World). Happily (which is ironic, as you’ll see), we get more than one look at the former Doctor in this first TV spot with footage. We also get a couple of other new bits o’ scenes mixed in with some we’ve already seen:

So, not a very uplifting (sorry, I simply could not resist) TV spot, but I am definitely intrigued, even beyond the fact that it’s a Damon Lindelof series and therefore golden to me. Just under six weeks to go…
