Over the last few months, we’ve brought you a look at each of the childhood heroes in DreamWork Animation’s Rise of the Guardians with characters posters and dossiers and the first trailer for the film. This new trailer we have for the animated film produced by Guillermo del Toro and Peter Ramsey (Monsters vs Aliens) at the helm gives us a closer look at how these heroes of children all over the world recruit Jack Frost (Chris Pine) and assemble to battle Pitch (Jude Law).

Synopsis:

RISE OF THE GUARDIANS is an epic adventure that tells the story of a group of heroes – each with extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children all over the world.

The story is adapted from William Joyce’s Guardians of Childhood book series, inspired by his own children. He created a backstory for his own kids of how the Man in the Moon, Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and Sandman knew each other. Rise of the Guardians stars Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher, Jude Law, and Chris Pine.

Rise of the Guardians is slated to hit theaters in 3D on November 21st, 2012.
