Just last month, we brought you some new behind the scenes photos from the set of director David Twohy‘s forthcoming, third installment in the Riddick franchise, aptly titled Riddick. The film stars Vin Diesel, along with Karl Urban, Katee Sackhoff, Jordi Mollà, Bokeem Woodbine and Dave Bautista.

Thanks once again to Diesel, we get our first look at Katee Sackhoff as the mercenary named Dahl, a creepy looking caged creature and Diesel himself as the titular Riddick. Check out the pics, along with Diesel’s comments below!

Synopsis:

 Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.

Riddick is slated to hit theaters in 2013.
